We are excited for you to observe and shadow with us! Here are a few things to keep in mind before your first day of experience. While we understand you might be nervous, we want you to feel comfortable and get the most out of your time at New Creation Therapy. Most questions are appropriate to ask before or at the end of a therapy session. Feel free to ask questions and engage during visits. Appropriate and uncut t-shirts, scrub tops and/or bottoms, close-toed shoes (with socks), and jeans without holes are all permitted for shadowing.
Letters of Recommendation
Submit the form above to request a letter of recommendation if you meet the following requirements:
-
Must have shadowed/observed or volunteered an NCT occupational therapist for a minimum of 30 hours.
-
Must submit request within 6 months of your last shadowing experience with NCT.
Be sure to include "requesting letter of recommendation" in the textbox of the form.
Once your submission is received, we will email you and request your resume. Your request and resume will then be sent to an occupational therapist for review. The therapist has the right to accept or deny any requests and you will be notified within 7 days of sending us your resume.
We ask the therapists to have the letter completed 7-14 days after the request is accepted. This uninterrupted time period is necessary for the therapist to thoughtfully write an efficient letter of recommendation.
Received your completed letter of recommendation?
Great, we would love to hear back from you!
